Nothing goes out without your approval: how the approval inbox works

Why a team of AI agents should never write to your customers or spend your money without asking you — and how Elpis applies it.

A team of AI agents can write an e-mail in a few seconds, prepare a week of posts or propose a complete ad campaign. That is valuable. But an e-mail that has been sent cannot be taken back, a clumsy post stays visible, and ad spending is real money.

At Elpis, we made a simple choice: anything that reaches the outside world waits for your approval.

What goes through the approval inbox

  • sending an e-mail (prospecting or a reply to a customer);
  • publishing a post on your social networks;
  • putting your website, or changes to it, online;
  • creating a payment link;
  • any ad spending.

Everything else — researching, writing, analysing, preparing — the agents do without disturbing you. You find their work in the dashboard, step by step.

See exactly what will go out

Each request shows the exact content: the full e-mail with its recipient, the text of the post, the changes to the website, the amount of a campaign. The agent also explains why it is proposing it.

You have three choices:

  1. Approve: the action goes out as it is.
  2. Edit, then approve: you make corrections in the built-in editor, then you confirm.
  3. Reject: you say why, and that reason is kept in memory. Next time, the team takes it into account.

A request left unanswered expires after seven days. It is then never carried out.

Automatic mode, only if you decide so

Once you trust the team, you can let certain categories go out without you: publishing the website, posts, prospecting e-mails with a daily cap, replies to simple questions. It is a setting per category, which you can take back at any time.

One exception: ad spending always requires your approval. This setting cannot be changed.

And if something goes wrong?

The “Emergency pause” button is visible everywhere in the app. It immediately stops all running tasks and all scheduled sends of a business. Interrupted tasks are refunded to you.

Every action is also logged: which agent, what, why, with what result and at what cost. You can always find out what happened.

Why this choice

Because your business carries your name. An AI can get the tone wrong, misread a context, or be fooled by a malicious e-mail that gives it instructions. The approval inbox is not a constraint added to the product: it is the product. You delegate the work, not the decision.
